General Election to MLA, 2023 has been announced by the Election Commission of India on 9th October, 2023 and Model Code of Conduct has come into effect with the announcement of election.

Therefore, all unauthorized political advertisement, in the form of wall writing/ posters/ papers or defacement in any other form, cutout/ hoardings, banners,flags, etc. on public property and in public spaces like Railway Stations, Bus Stations, Airports, Railway, Bridges, roadways, Govt. buses, Electric/Telephone Poles, Municipal/Local bodies, buildings etc., within Aizawl district shall be removed within 48 hours i.e. 11.10.2023, 12 Noon from the announcement of election by the Election Commission of India
