The National Highway No. 54 connects the whole of Mizoram including the District Capital. The condition of roads in the District is relatively good and serviceable. Moreover, the District is connected by both land/road & air/helicopter transport.
Election Infrastructure including voter registration databases and associated IT systems/infrastructure and systems used to manage elections (such as the counting, auditing and displaying of election results, and post-election reporting to certify and validate results) are readily available in the district.
The District has several Printing Offsets along with numerous Banks and post offices. Network Service providers include BSNL, Jio, Airtel, Vodafone. Broadband connection is provided by BSNL, NIC, SWAN POP, etc. The district has Govt. District Civil Hospital, Zoram Medical College and several other private hospitals. Being the state capital, it has adequate infrastructure for a smooth conduct of election.
Overall, there is good logistics and adequate manpower.
